Every campaign is manually reviewed against these policies before it goes live, and any campaign already live can be reported by users and pulled if it violates them.
A campaign is reviewed within 24 hours of payment. If it's rejected, you'll get a notification with the specific reason and suggestions to fix it — you can then edit and resubmit at no extra charge. If it's approved, you publish it yourself from My Ad Manager, so it goes live exactly when you're ready.
Sexually explicit content, nudity, or content primarily intended to arouse.
Get-rich-quick schemes, phishing, fake giveaways, or anything designed to deceive people out of money or data.
Claiming to be a person, brand, or organization you're not, or using a name/logo you don't have rights to.
Anything illegal to sell, buy, or advertise in the region you're targeting — including counterfeit goods, weapons, and restricted substances.
Political campaign or issue advocacy content — DIYLens doesn't currently support political advertising in any region.
False urgency ('last chance', fake countdowns), fabricated results, or claims a reasonable person would find deceptive.
Hate speech, harassment, graphic violence, or content that targets a person or group.
A CTA that leads to a dead link, malware, or a page that doesn't match what the ad promised.
Ads in Health, Money, and Legal modules are held to a higher bar: no unverifiable medical, financial, or legal guarantees, and no fear-based urgency tactics. Ads never show to accounts under 18 or during an emergency/STOP safety verdict, enforced at the database level regardless of any campaign setting.
Any user can report an ad directly from its "…" menu. A report immediately hides that ad for the reporter and flags it for our team — repeat or severe violations can result in a campaign being pulled and the advertiser account being restricted from future campaigns.
